That Date was Saved

Okay, back to blogging...

It has been a whirlwind month - multiple trips for work (including a first time visit to Montreal - a new fave) and wedding planning through every available waking moment. Maybe that is an exaggeration, but some days it did feel that way and I more than once questioned my capacity for DIY.
In the end, we had an amazing wedding. The family was in town, the friends came in droves, the liquor flowed freely and the dance party lasted for hours. Spending August 25th with our 100 nearest and dearest meant the world to us. We were grinning fools the entire night - and not just because we got to dance to Party in the U.S.A.
Bob and I just returned from our honeymoon in Belize where we hiked the Mayan ruins, went canoeing in a cave, snorkeled and ate about 5 pounds each of shrimp ceviche. Tomorrow it is back to reality after 2 full weeks away from work.
Over the next couple months, all that wedding DIY'ing (wedDIYing?) will be put into blog form. A few sneak peeks have already been shared including the table numbers, a slideshow how-to and our save the dates. Stay tuned for details on the guestbook, organization methods and budgeting, centerpieces, the altarpiece, invitations, programs, escort cards and much, much more. Peppered in between will be non-wedding posts - just as soon as I find some new projects to fill the void!

I can't wait to see how our photographs turn out - the amazing team from GReyes Photography captured every minute and are highly recommended.
